AIGs underwriters help to find insurance solutions for risks from a range of areas including Financial Lines Property Casualty Specialty Lines Cyber Multinational Clients and High Net Worth individuals.

About the role

The CUO team provides the support structure for all Casualty products outside of the US and works on a varied range of key underwriting elements including: strategy appetite underwriting processes guidelines and financial performance. The Portfolio Analyst role focuses on supporting all aspects of the CUO office work with a particular focus on improving access to decision making information and clarity of tools as an enabler to improve confidence in underwriting and unlock growth.

AIG seeks candidates who have excelled in previous work experience demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement possess strong analytical quantitative and interpersonal skills and are enthusiastic about and committed to the insurance industry.

We also look for a diverse background of experience culture and thought. Successful candidates typically have a global perspective and a team-oriented track record.

Required:

  • Insurance experience or a demonstrable desire to work within Insurance

  • Bachelors or Masters degree preferred

  • Degree in a relevant subject leading to practical exposure in data analytics and visualization beneficial but not essential
