Position Summary
The facility is seeking aPhysician Assistant (PA) to join its Neurology team in Frederick MD.
This role involves a balanced mix of outpatient clinic responsibilities inpatient consultations and limited night call coverage. The ideal candidate will have prior neurology experience or be a motivated new graduate with a strong interest in neurology. Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred.

Essential Position Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Assist in diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological conditions under physician supervision.
Perform hospital consultations and follow-up evaluations as needed.
Collaborate closely with neurologists nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient-centered care.
Develop and implement treatment plans while monitoring patient progress.
Maintain accurate timely and compliant documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
Participate in clinical discussions care coordination and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Licensure & Certification: Active Maryland PA license (or eligibility to obtain).
Experience: Prior neurology experience preferred; strong new graduates from reputable PA programs are encouraged to apply.
Skills: Excellent clinical judgment strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
Additional Requirement: Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
