We act for the roleAs the Manager - Property Projects and Fitouts for the National Property portfolio of Australian Red Cross you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end project management of tenancy and fit-out projects from initial concept design through to final will be at the heart of transforming our workplaces into dynamic human-centered environments that foster innovation collaboration and sustainability. From tech-enabled fit-outs to agile space upgrades and cutting-edge refurbishment projects you will play a pivotal role in reimagining and optimising our workplaces. This is a hands-on and multifaceted role encompassing the full scope of capital works with responsibilities including overseeing lease negotiations relating to landlord fit-out obligations managing contractors and consultants ensuring WHS compliance and supporting facilities youWith substantial experience managing large-scale retail or commercial fit-out projects and Project Management experience in a construction environment you will demonstrate flexibility and problem-solving acumen to manage complex challenges across diverse project environments. Leveraging your expertise you will ensure that all projects are delivered efficiently and effectively meeting high standards of quality safety and in this role will require the ability to coordinate a broad range of stakeholders including landlords contractors consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery within budget and to the highest standards of quality safety and and experienceDemonstrated sound technical knowledge and expertise in Building Codes Australian Standards and Regulatory requirementsComprehensive technical knowledge of large-scale retail or commercial fit-out projects with strong knowledge of construction processes tenancy design and sustainability practicesSubstantial knowledge and understanding of Australian building codes accessibility standards and relevant legislation. Familiarity with design software and project management tools and Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel).Strong financial and commercial knowledge gained through experienceAbility to operate under limited direction from senior employees and work with and lead teams and people from diverse backgrounds and create a collaborative working environmentHigh level of interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingUndertake significant projects involving sound analytical skills and demonstrated ability to assess evaluate and solve complex construction issuesProblem Solving & Initiative: Able to analyse complex issues think critically and take initiative to solve problems - especially in situations where there are no clear processes or Collaboration: Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external parties.
