Job Summary
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES
The ideal candidate will manage technology and lead major projects to improve product performance efficiency and costs in the automated Non-grain Oriented Electrical Steel (NOES) plant supporting ArcelorMittal Calverts business goals.
The Basics:
- Bachelors degree in engineering field
- 3 years rolling mill technology
- 5 years of industrial experience
- Demonstrated understanding of control systems instrumentation process models (Process Management fundamentals)
- Experience in NOES Non-Oriented Electrical Steels product and reversing cold mill (RCM)
- Demonstrates strong decision-making analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of mass flow in the cold rolling process
- Strong Teamwork and a hands-on working approach
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook Excel Teams Word PowerPoint)
- Ability to develop and deliver technical presentations to senior management

WHAT YOULL BE DOING
- Provide technical support for the NOES RCM process
- Responsible for regular reporting of NOES RCM performance to Technology Manager
- Work directly with NOES RCM Operations team to support improvement initiatives
- Perform in-depth analysis and investigations of NOES RCM performance
- Develop and implement special/improved inspection and testing methods
- Drive functionality and performance improvements of process models/control systems (Flatness control model Rolling model etc.)
