Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Mechanic
Type: Contract-to-Hire (Potential FTE)
Pay Range: $28$30/hr
Location / Territory: St. Cloud MN (Coverage includes Alexandria MN Fargo ND Detroit Lakes MN and surrounding areas up to the Canada border)
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM5:00 PM (flexible)
Travel: Daily regional travel required; occasional overnight travel possible
Vehicle & Tools: Fully provided (company van gas card tools and equipment included)

Role Overview:
We are hiring a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic to support a multi-site portfolio across central and northern Minnesota. This is a field-based role for someone who is comfortable working independently managing their own schedule and maintaining multiple facilities across a wide territory. You will be responsible for general building maintenance mechanical repairs and basic HVAC electrical and plumbing support across assigned locations.

This is a hands-on position with strong autonomy. You will be trusted to complete work in the field document activity accurately and represent the organization professionally when interacting with site contacts.

What Youll Do:

• Perform general building maintenance across multiple facilities
• Maintain and replace lighting systems including bulbs and ballasts
• Complete minor plumbing repairs and basic electrical tasks
• Perform interior maintenance including hanging fixtures installing hardware and repairing office furniture systems
• Support HVAC-related maintenance tasks and general mechanical repairs
• Complete painting locksmith work and tenant service requests as assigned
• Move furniture equipment and materials as needed
• Conduct facility inspections and report conditions impacting operations or occupancy
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as part of on-call rotation
• Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
• Use mobile technology (iPhone/iPad) daily for work orders and reporting

• What Were Looking For:

• 3 years of experience in general building maintenance mechanical plumbing or electrical work
• Strong troubleshooting and hands-on repair skills
• Valid drivers license required
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites with minimal supervision
• Comfortable using mobile devices and work order systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document work clearly
• Professional communication skills when interacting with site contacts

• Nice to Have:

• Technical training in HVAC electrical or maintenance trades
• Experience with CMMS systems (Corrigo experience a plus not required)

• Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
• Frequent bending climbing kneeling and standing
• Ability to use ladders up to 30 ft
• Regular driving across assigned territory
