Job Summary
HGV Class 1 (CE) & Class 2 (LGV C) Drivers
Location: Reading
We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) and HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Drivers for a well-established and reputable client based in Reading.
This is an excellent opportunity offering stable ongoing work competitive pay rates and flexible shift patterns.
Tasks
Role Overview
Class 1 (CE):
- Completing 23 wave runs per shift
Class 2 (LGV C):
- Delivering parcels to Delivery Units
General Responsibilities:
- Ensuring safe and efficient operation of vehicles
- Completing all relevant paperwork accurately and on time
- Adhering to all driving and safety regulations
Available Roles & Pay Rates (PAYE)
Class 1 (CE):
- Days: 16.60 per hour
- Nights: 18.00 per hour
Class 2 (LGV C):
- Days: 14.55 per hour
- Nights: 16.50 per hour
Shift Patterns
- Day and night shifts available
- Typically 5 shifts per week
- Rotas may include weekends
Requirements
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience (relevant to licence class)
Valid HGV licence:
Class 1 (Category CE) or
Class 2 (Category C)
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
Willingness to complete an onsite assessment
