As a Security Officer Entry Control Guard in Elm Grove WI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location where you will monitor entry points verify credentials and support smooth site access with strong communication and customer service. You will remain visible conduct routine patrols and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering service with agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors drivers and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entrances exits gates and/or screening points to help control authorized access verify credentials and document visitor delivery and contractor activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to site contacts Allied Universal leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the building yard trailer areas parking locations and perimeter to help identify unusual activity unsecured access points and/or other security-related concerns.
• Support shipping and receiving area operations by observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic helping manage entry and exit activity and reporting policy violations hazards and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
