Secondary Comprehensive Learning Program Paraeducator
ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists the teacher in providing instruction to the children by reinforcing material or skills based on an understanding of individual student needs interests and abilities
- Have two years of college credit or hold an associates (or higher) degree or evidence of passing the Parapro Test.
- Previous experience working with students in inclusive and small group settings preferred
- Previous experience working with special education students preferred
- Willingness to be trained to assist all instructional and behavioral needs of the students
- Ability and willingness to carry over and apply skills from ongoing training
- Any duties as assigned by the administration
