Java Engineer (Hybrid)

• Offer convenience for travelers for fast and secure border crossing
• Improve border intelligence for detection and prevention including some of the most disruptive new technologies like biometrics machine learning or micro services.

If youre looking for new opportunities and ready to join a high-skilled multicultural team we are now looking for a Java Technical Lead to join our Platform and Services Delivery team in Madrid.

What will you do

• You will participate in the design implementation security and validation of applications within a project team structure in accordance with institutionalized processes and delivery standards.
• You will analyze customer requirements perform feasibility study provide technical proposals estimate workload and contribute to project requirements specification.
• You will collaborate on documentation related to these activities.
• You will be a team player inside one of our agile teams.

About You

To succeed in this job you must have:knowledge and at least 8 years of experience in software development including:

• Java and J2EE. Knowledge of J2EE frameworks and libraries (Spring Hibernate JPA JDBC)
• Knowledge of Web technologies (HTTP HTML XML REST SOAP JavaScript jQuery JSON) Angular 2 Typescript database servers - SQL (MS SQL MySQL Oracle) No SQL (Apache Cassandra MongoDB).
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture Message Brokers (Kafka Zookeeper) Containers (Docker Docker Compose Docker Swarm).
• Experience in Source Control Systems Continuous Integration Systems and Unit Testing Frameworks.
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computer Science Software Engineering Telecommunications or similar.
• You are fluent in English and available to travel out of the country (maximum 15% of your time).
