Job Summary
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Temporary Groundskeeper to help maintain the cleanliness safety and overall appearance of our outdoor spaces for the summer (through September 30th). This role plays an important part in creating a welcoming well-kept environment by ensuring lawns landscaping and exterior areas are cared for year-round.
Key Responsibilities
- Mow edge trim and water lawns and landscaped areas
- Plant prune fertilize and maintain trees shrubs flowers and turf
- Remove weeds leaves litter and debris from grounds and walkways
- Inspect grounds regularly and report safety hazards or maintenance needs
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers trimmers blowers etc.)
- Perform seasonal duties such as snow removal leaf cleanup and irrigation adjustments
- Assist with setup and breakdown of outdoor events as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and proper use of tools and equipment
- Comply with organizational policies including the Compliance Program Plan and Code of Conduct
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of landscaping grounds maintenance or horticulture preferred
- Ability to safely operate landscaping tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable performing physical labor in outdoor conditions
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous groundskeeping or landscaping experience is a plus but not required
Salary Description
Starting at $16.00 per hour
