The GA APAC Regional Engineering Leader is responsible for overseeing engineering operations across APAC region. This role provides technical leadership ensures project execution excellence drives standardization and aligns regional engineering activities with corporate strategy safety standards and financial goals. He/She will be part of our GA regional leadership team with a direct reporting line into the Regional P&L Leader.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and manage regional engineering teams including managers system engineers subject matter experts and technical specialists.
• Develop and execute regional engineering strategies aligned with global and corporate objectives.
• Foster a culture of safety quality innovation and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop engineering talent including succession planning.

Engineering & Technical Oversight

• Ensure engineering designs solutions and deliverables meet technical regulatory and quality standards.
• Standardize engineering processes tools and best practices across the region.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve complex engineering challenges.
• Support new technology adoption and digital transformation initiatives.

Project & Operations Management

• Oversee execution of regional engineering projects ensuring on-time on-budget and high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with project management operations and supply chain teams.
• Review and approve project plans resource allocations and technical risks.
• Ensure compliance with health safety environmental and regulatory requirements.

Financial & Resource Management

• Manage regional engineering budgets forecasts and cost controls.
• Optimize resource utilization across projects and sites.
• Support capital planning and investment decisions.
• Drive cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives.

Stakeholder & Customer Engagement

• Act as the senior engineering point of contact for regional customers and partners.
• Collaborate with sales commercial and operations teams on proposals and bids.
• Represent the region in global engineering forums and leadership meetings.
• Interface with regulatory bodies contractors and external stakeholders as required.

Continuous Improvement & Governance

• Establish KPIs and performance metrics for engineering effectiveness.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for engineering issues.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance engineering standards and audits.
• Share lessons learned and best practices across regions.
