Qualifications
- Licensure: Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Leadership: At least 1 year of supervisory or training/teaching experience.
- Supervisory experience with Home Health Aides (at least 6 months required)
- Education: Bachelors degree in nursing (required).
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to become an approved/certified CNA Instructor.
- Must pass a Level II background check and submit to random drug testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with CTAs nursing and executive team to design and update program curricula.
- Lead training classes for CHHA CNA and Medication Technician certifications (with opportunity to assist in Phlebotomy training if desired).
- Proctor and grade exams evaluate student performance and determine certification eligibility.
- Mentor and guide students fostering both technical skills and professional confidence.
- Maintain instructional materials classroom resources and program documentation
- Collaborate with leadership and staff on program operations events and organizational initiatives
- Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current with healthcare and education standards
- Provide occasional support in related clinical administrative supervisory or operational functions based on organizational needs
- Contribute to interdisciplinary projects staff development or affiliated healthcare services when applicable
