Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for clients
- Assess and evaluate clients mental health needs and goals
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Educate clients and families about mental health issues and resources
- Participate in team meetings and case discussions
Requirements
- Masters degree in Counseling Social Work or related field
- Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor or equivalent
- Experience working in a clinical or counseling setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
