| Classification Minimum Requirements: | This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through student Other Personnel Services (OPS). Registered students are employed on a part-time basis up to 20 hours per week. Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate (minimum of 12 credits) student during the current semester and throughout the applicants term maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average remain in good academic and disciplinary standing with the University with no repeated violations of the University Code of Student Conduct. |

| Job Description: | Front Office & Customer Service Serves as the primary point of contact by greeting visitors answering and directing phone calls and gathering caller information. Respond to general inquiries including questions related to event permits and application status in GatorConnect and route more complex questions to appropriate staff. Maintain a professional and welcoming office environment. Office Operations Maintain organization and cleanliness of shared spaces including front office kitchen copy room and conference room; restock supplies; prepare meeting spaces; and provide basic support for meetings and AV needs. Administrative & Event Permitting Support Assist with GatorConnect event permitting system including standard communications adding campus partners preparing event summaries and supporting the transition of the software used for GatorConnect. Communications & Content Assist with development of presentations training materials and campus-facing resources related to events including creating polished PowerPoint presentations. NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: Normal business hours Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; up to (20) hours a week in-person. |

- Experience with MS Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Experience with UFs event permitting system GatorConnect.
- The ability to organize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate professional etiquette in the office on the phone and in person.
- Ability to use critical thinking skills.
- Treat your job supervisor coworkers and guests with the same behavior dress communication discretion and courtesy that you would an internship or full-time job.
