Schedule: 40 hours/week
Shift: Evening/Night

• Primarily 9:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Occasional 3:00 PM 1:00 AM
  Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday

Position Overview

A reputable healthcare facility is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a hospital setting. This role involves preparing and dispensing medications ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting clinical teams to promote safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dispense and control medications in compliance with federal state and facility regulations
• Review medication orders for accuracy dosage interactions and appropriateness
• Compound medications including IV admixtures TPN and other sterile preparations
• Ensure proper labeling storage and documentation of medications
• Provide drug information and consultation to physicians nurses and healthcare staff
• Supervise and delegate tasks to pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Maintain current knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and advancements
• Manage distribution of medications to patient care areas
• Perform medication order entry and provide clinical pharmacy support
• Support evening/night operations including coverage for affiliated facilities
• Ensure adherence to medication safety policies and procedures
• Deliver high-quality service to patients staff and visitors

Qualifications

Experience:

• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy program

Licensure & Certifications (Required):

• Active Massachusetts Pharmacist License
