Job Summary
CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)
Rate of Pay is $21.63-$26.78 per hour based on certification year
$2.00 Shift Differential $1.00 Weekend Differential
Schedule Options:
- Day Shift Part-time: 24 hours/week 6:45 am 3:15 am some weeknights and every other weekend with some holiday requirements
- Evening Shift Part-time: 16-24 hours/week 2:45 pm 11:15 am some weeknights and every other weekend with some holiday requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living in a skilled nursing environment
- Provide hands-on nursing care as determined by individual care plans
- Ensure resident safety and comfort while lifting transferring and supporting them as needed
- Communicate effectively with residents families and team members
Qualifications:
- Current New York State certification as a CNA required
- Ability to stand/walk for most of the shift
- Capacity to push pull lift and transfer residents particularly when lifting exceeds 35 pounds
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork
