Reports To: Chief Program Officer & Lead Peer Support Supervisor
Pay: $18$20/hour (based on experience)

Marian House is a residential recovery housing program for women and their children. We provide trauma-informed care supportive housing and recovery services to help women achieve stability sobriety and independence.
Position Overview
We are hiring a Peer Recovery Support Specialist to provide peer support services to women in recovery. This role is ideal for someone with lived experience who is passionate about supporting others through substance use recovery mental health challenges and reentry.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide peer support through one-on-one and group sessions
- Assist residents with recovery planning and goal setting
- Support individuals with substance use recovery and mental health needs
- Connect residents to community resources housing and employment
- Model healthy coping skills and recovery strategies
- Advocate for residents and support self-advocacy and empowerment
- Collaborate with case managers and multidisciplinary team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) required
- Experience in behavioral health substance use recovery support or social services preferred
Skills & Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a residential or supportive housing environment
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Evening and/or weekend availability preferred
Work Environment
- Residential recovery housing setting
- May include occasional lifting bending and extended periods of standing
