Job Summary
Find your purpose by joining CentraCare in Benson as a Housekeeper working to keep our patients safe and our facilities clean.
Summary
- Hospital cleaners sanitize rooms during patients stays and after patients are discharged.
- Tasks include vacuuming mopping changing bedding and re-stocking bathrooms in all parts of the facility.
- Position includes working with chemicals and coming in contact with bodily fluids.
Schedule
Full time 60 hours per two weeks.
Evening shift from 4:00PM to 10:30PM various schedule Monday through Friday
Every 4th weekend/holiday rotation working 6:00AM to 2:30PM
Pay and Benefits
- Starting pay begins at $16.55 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience.
Full Pay range: $16.55 - $23.97 per hour

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
- Previous cleaning experience in health care facility preferred but not required.
- Other types of cleaning such as private house or business cleaning helpful.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English required.
- Maintain confidentiality when dealing with all internal and external customers.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position during the assigned shift.
- Ability to care for equipment measure cleaning products and be alert to potential hazards.
- Must be flexible to change and have the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
