Responsibilities
Our ICU team is always ready to deliver the highest level of care for any our 24-bed ICU you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care to complex patients with a multitude of diagnoses including sepsis shock multi-organ failure ARDS heart failure MI cardiac abnormalities and stroke.
As a nurse in this unit you should have the desire to be a patient and family advocate have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and enjoy collaboration with other disciplines.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma High School Equivalency (HSE)or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate
- Consistent demonstration of competent clinical nursing practiceproficiency
- 1 years of critical care experience
Licenses and Certifications
- RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)
- Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 3 months of hire
