We are seeking a talented individual to join our Growth team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Montreal. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As the Growth Leader you will drive market share expansion across Quebec and the Maritimes and be accountable for leading new business growth across the region strengthening our presence in key markets and elevating how we engage with the business community.

As a senior leader you will set and execute the regional growth agenda lead a team of producers and maintain a strong personal presence in the market. You will also be an active member of the regional leadership team contributing to broader business priorities shaping regional strategy and ensuring growth is embedded across the organization.

While this role includes direct leadership of producers a significant portion of growth will come from partnering closely with Client Executivesshaping client strategy identifying opportunities and bringing a more proactive growth-oriented lens to existing relationships.

This role requires a shift from a traditional insurance-led approach to one that is enterprise-focusedbringing the full breadth of our capabilities across risk & insurance people strategy and capital to help clients solve their most important business challenges.

Bilingualism (French and English) is essential along with a strong understanding of the Quebec market and its relationship-driven business culture.

We will count on you to:

Drive Regional Growth & Market Share

  • Develop and execute a growth agenda focused on expanding market share across Quebec and the Maritimes.

  • Identify priority markets industries and target clients to drive sustained new business growth.

  • Assess competitive dynamics and define clear strategies to improve positioning and win rates.

Lead New Business Development

  • Build and advance a strong diversified pipeline of new business opportunities.

  • Personally lead or sponsor high-impact pursuits where executive presence increases the likelihood of success.

  • Ensure a disciplined approach to opportunity qualification pipeline management and forecasting.

  • Anchor client conversations in understanding and solving the most relevant business challenges.

Activate the Client Team to Unlock Growth

  • Partner closely with Client Executives to shape client strategies and identify growth opportunities.

  • Bring a proactive enterprise-wide lens to client relationshipsexpanding beyond traditional insurance discussions.

  • Align teams around priority pursuits and ensure a coordinated client-centric approach to winning.

Expand to Full Firm Capability (Key Evolution)

  • Bring the full breadth of the firms capabilities to clientsacross risk & insurance people strategy and capital.

  • Foster a culture of curiosity around clients broader enterprise challenges.

  • Identify opportunities beyond traditional insurance placements and connect clients to the right expertise.

  • Position the firm as a partner solving business problems not just placing coverage.

Build a Strong External Presence

  • Act as a visible and credible leader across the Quebec and Maritimes business communities.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior business leaders centers of influence and key stakeholders.

  • Lead by exampledemonstrating how to build trust create access and convert relationships into growth opportunities.

  • Coach and enable producers and Client Executives to strengthen their external presence and effectiveness.

Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team

  • Lead coach and develop a team of producers focused on new client acquisition.

  • Set clear expectations for market activity relationship building and performance outcomes.

  • Build capability in consultative selling executive engagement and translating client needs into meaningful solutions.

  • Foster a culture of accountability momentum and continuous improvement.

Lead Strategic Pursuits & RFPs

  • Provide leadership on major pursuits and RFPs across the region.

  • Shape win strategies value propositions and executive-level messaging.

  • Ensure disciplined execution clear accountability and differentiation in competitive processes.

Contribute to Regional Leadership

  • Act as a key member of the Quebec & Maritimes leadership team contributing to regional strategy and business priorities.

  • Ensure growth considerations are embedded in broader decision-making across the region.

  • Partner with regional leaders to align on priorities remove barriers and accelerate growth.

Execution Metrics & Accountability

  • Establish and track clear growth metrics including pipeline strength win rates and market share.

  • Use data and market insight to refine strategy and reallocate focus as needed.

  • Drive a culture of execution excellence visibility and results.

What you need to have:

  • Proven track record of driving new business growth and expanding market share

  • Experience leading and developing high-performing sales or producer teams

  • Strong presence and credibility with senior business leaders

  • Demonstrated ability to build and leverage external networks to generate opportunities

  • Experience influencing and partnering across client teams to drive growth

  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate insight into action

  • Deep understanding of the Quebec and/or Maritimes markets

  • Fully bilingual in French and English (required)
