Job Summary
Join University Home Care Inc as a Direct Care Aid providing compassionate and essential support to individuals in Benton Harbor this role you will assist clients with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and hygiene.
- Support clients with mobility and transfer assistance.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients families and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Follow care plans and report any changes in client condition promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in direct care or caregiving is an asset but NOT Required.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate patient and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as needed in compliance with safety standards.
