Job Summary

Staunton High School is seeking applications foraCTE Family Consumer Science teachingpositionfor the2026-27 academic school this role you will lead our Education and Training courses. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world application training the next generation of educators.

This role is unique due to our established partnership with Dixon Preschool which serves as an off-location site for our students in Intro to Early Childcare. The successful candidate will not only be an instructor but also a liaison ensuring a high-quality professional bridge between our classroom and the preschool environment.

You will also provide leadership serving as an advisor for the Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) chapter mentoring students in competitive events and leadership development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited college or university.Candidate must possess a current Virginia teaching license or be eligible to possess a Virginia teaching license with the following endorsement: Family and Consumer Science.

Start Date:late July 2026

210-Day Contract

Salary is based on the2026-27 Salary Scale.
