Overall Purpose of the Job
Responsible for Expros engineering activities within a designated Engineering business area. Undertake general Engineering tasks as directed by Supervisor / Manager to enable the progress and completion of related projects.
Key Activities and Accountabilities
1. Produce the required Engineering documentation then check for compliance with industry standards and Expros policies and procedures
2. Record Engineering documents into PDM system and configure as required
3. Actively participate in Engineering meetings with internal and external parties
4. Upload information to Engineering databases and use technical software packages as required
5. Liaise with other technical departments on work produced to ensure that any calculations and analysis is fit for purpose
6. Manage project interfaces with third party suppliers to ensure delivery and agreed standard of work as per project /plan
7. Perform any trials or simulations as required by project
8. Keep abreast of advances in technology or methodology
9. Liaise with internal and external departments as and when required to ensure all questions and queries are resolved and liaise with manager on any issues or concerns
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
1. Degree in engineering or a relevant engineering discipline
2. 5 years work experience within a related industry
3. Proficient in use of technical software packages such as Auto CAD
4. Team Leader experience
