Due to continued organisational growth we are seeking an experienced Regional Workshop Manager to join our Fleet services team based in Shepparton.
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing our network of Regional Depot Workshops across regional Victoria and NSW to ensue delivery of high quality and consistent fleet maintenance across the region.
The Role
Regional Workshop Management at Dysons is more than keeping the wheels turning: Its about leading the teams and systems that keep our fleet safe reliable and on the road every day.
Reporting to the General Manager Regional Services (in consultation with the Fleet Services General Manager) the Regional Workshop Manager is responsible for the overall performance of our Northern Regional Workshop network. This includes leading Workshop Supervisors and teams overseeing operational planning and managing resources across multiple depot locations.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will drive consistency improve efficiency and build strong safety-focused culture across northern regional workshops.
What Youll Be Doing
Managing Workshop Supervisors across multiple regional sites ensuring consistent leadership performance and operational standards
Overseeing scheduling workflow and maintenance delivery and workforce planning across all regional workshops and Shepparton Bodyshop
Driving KPIs performance continuous improvement standardisation and operational efficiencies across all locations
Managing budgets compliance safety and quality requirements
Acting as an escalation point for complex issues whilst building strong relationships with Depot Managers and key stakeholders
What Were Looking For
Proven leadership experience in a workshop or fleet environment with the ability to manage across multiple sites and deliver consistent outcomes
Relevant trade qualification (Heavy Vehicle / Diesel / Automotive) and current Heavy Vehicle Licence (HR/HC or equivalent)
Experience within the bus or transport industry will be highly regarded
Exposure to mixed heavy vehicle fleets including Scania Volvo Mercedes-Benz and Cummins (Volgren)
Experience or familiarity with commercial electric vehicles
Strong Knowledge of fleet maintenance compliance safety standards and operational performance management
Experience managing budgets resourcing and leading workforce planning in complex operational environments
Demonstrated ability to coach and develop teams with strong communication stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
