Mechanical Design Engineer PureBallast

Now we are looking for aMechanical Design Engineer who is also eager to take on the role of SubProject Manager within our engineering this role you will combine hands-on mechanical design work with responsibility for leadingsmallerdevelopment projects.

About The Job

AsMechanicaldesignEngineeryou will

• Perform R&D activities related toPureBallastsystem components and subcomponents.

• Execute mechanical design drawings and technical documentation needed for production related to new product development and product care.

• Perform test verification and design reviews.

• Generate andmaintainproduct structures in PDM systems.

• Technical support for mechanical design ofPureBallast.

• Communicate with other departments suppliers and production.

• Stay up to date withnew technologies designmethodsand tools.

• Lead smaller technicalprojects from initiation to completion.

• Plancoordinateand follow up activities related to the projects.

• Identifydevelopand gather the resources necessary to complete the project.

• Collaboratewith engineersproduction marketsuppliersand other stakeholders.

This position is based inFlemingsbergStockholmand you can expect up to20 daysof travel annually.

What You Know

To be successful in this role we think you:

• Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering with at leastthreeyears of work experience from mechanical design.

• Goodknowledge of CAD and PDM systems. Experience in Inventor for mechanical design or similar is valued.

• Experience or strong interest in project coordination or project management.

• Have knowledge of material properties specifications and standards.

• Strong communicationskills in Englishboth verbally and written but alsofluent in Swedish.

• Structured self-drivencreativecomfortable taking responsibilityand outgoing withhighmotivation to solve problems.

• Are used to work independently but getyourenergy from being part of a team that helps and care for each other.

• Experience in mechanical design within maritime environments as well as experience as a sub-project leader or technical lead is considered a strong asset.
