Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking a licensed Retail Pharmacist to provide short-term coverage in a critical access hospital retail pharmacy setting in Cordova Alaska. This role is ideal for a professional looking to provide essential pharmaceutical care while experiencing the unique lifestyle of a remote Alaskan community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the retail pharmacy window ensuring accurate dispensing and patient counseling.

• Maintain high standards of pharmaceutical care within a small hospital environment.

• Collaborate with physicians nurses and other clinical staff to support patient care.

• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.

• Serve as a primary point of pharmaceutical expertise for the community during peak summer season.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.

• Active Alaska State Pharmacy License.

• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience.

• Strong knowledge of pharmacology drug safety and medication therapy management.

• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.

• Ability to work independently in a small remote healthcare facility.
