Job Summary
- Lead and coordinate operational delivery across multiple Schools in a complex higher education environment with the substantive role spanning the School of Biomedical Sciences and the UWA Dental School.
- Influence and support School leadership through high-level advice planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Full-time appointment on an ongoing basis.
- Base salary range: $116262 $127078p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
College Services provides high-quality academic administration and technical support to the Universitys Schools working closely with Heads of School academic staff and research students. The School Operations team plays a critical role in enabling Schools to achieve their strategic and operational objectives by delivering efficient client-focused administrative services and driving continuous improvement across teaching research and general operations.
About the opportunity
- Coordinate and oversee the operational delivery and administrative support services for two or more academic Schools working closely with School leadership and professional teams.
- Take a lead role in supporting strategic and operational initiatives including planning activities resource allocation discussions and service improvement projects in a higher education setting.
- Manage and develop a team of professional staff to deliver high-quality responsive services aligned to University and School priorities.
About you
- Substantial experience working in higher education providing academic or school-based administrative support within a complex organisational environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team set priorities monitor workflows and deliver outcomes in a service-focused setting.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate influence and provide authoritative advice to senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and resource planning skills with experience contributing to planning reporting and improvement initiatives.
- A proactive collaborative approach with a strong commitment to quality customer service and continuous improvement.
