About the role
This role actively contributes to achieving excellent hub performance on a daily basis across our network. Acting as an operational specialist the core of this role is to support as well as own tasks within the Hub Operations. This role manages crucial warehouse process and supply chain related tasks that help us achieve agreed service levels operate efficiently and ensure smooth collaboration between us and our B2B clients. This is a critical role supporting the Hub Operations Manager our clients and hubs.
With more than 40 hubs around the globe this role feeds into creating one way of working streamlining processes and improving reporting and data processing which all are key to our success.
- Working in close collaboration with Hub Operations managers to ensure flawless execution at our hubs
- Acting as the first point of contact for all hub activities both internal and external
- Actively delving into the requests from our hubs to find the best way to support and solve a diverse set of issues
- Owning and proactively streamlining the daily contact and issue resolution with our hubs
- Analyzing data to support decision making to increase efficiencies and to identify opportunities for continuous improvements and cost savings
- Contributing to KPI reporting and monitoring hub processing and capacity ensuring SLAs are achieved
- Co-developing Standard Operating Procedures and ensuring their successful implementation and execution
- Collaborating cross departmentally on new client go lives service changes and special ad hoc handling requirements
- Engaging in weekly hub meetings and actively building on good relationships with all stakeholders
- Assisting hub manager with hub training on the above-mentioned topics
- Actively contributing to the Hub Operations Support team spirit and knowledge sharing
This role requires 1-2 days a week traveling to our largest hub in Germany hence the candidate is ideally located in the South-East of the Netherlands. No car is required for this travel as it can be easily done by train. Working from our Utrecht office is also expected on a weekly basis
What we need from you
- Background within international warehousing supply chain or logistics with at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Excellent business English communication skills both written and verbal
- The ability to prioritise items of work and stay calm under pressure
- A self-starter mentality not shying away from responsibility and ownership
- Ability to build maintain and improve relationships with different stakeholders
- Desire to find the best solutions to any issue at hand
- Ability to work fast while being accurate and having a critical mindset to initiate and support process improvement
- Comfortable with tools such as Excel and Tableau
