Position Details

• Role: Veterinary Assistant / Veterinary Receptionist hybrid-role
• Status: Full-time
• Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
• Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts. Rotating Saturdays. No overnights no major holidays.

If you love providing excellent customer service and want to develop your skills working with animals we are looking for a dynamic hardworking individual to join our team! This is a full-time hybrid role where you would be cross-trained to work at the front desk provide client care and assist in rooms as a Veterinary Assistant. Strong ability to multitask and a willingness to help the team and our patients wherever needed are required. Prior experience in animal handling and customer service is essential.

The Wauwatosa Veterinary Clinics mission is to promote happiness through healthy pets and we achieve this by offering a wide spectrum of conventional and integrative health care options and using a Fear Free/Low-Stress Handling addition to our conventional veterinary services we also offer diagnostic ultrasound echocardiograms acupuncture acupressure physical rehabilitation therapeutic laser and massage.

What Youll Do

• Answer phones
• Check clients/patients in and out of appointments
• Handle cash and process payments
• Obtain diagnostics - including radiographs phlebotomy and sample collection
• Provide safe and effective patient handling and restraint
