Energy & Utility Attorney (CPUC Focus)
A highly regarded California-based environmental labor land use boutique firm is seeking an attorney with at least 2 years of experience practicing before the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle CPUC proceedings filings and regulatory matters
- Draft briefs comments and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and policy analysis
- Participate in administrative hearings and advocacy
- Collaborate with stakeholders including unions and environmental groups
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of CPUC or equivalent regulatory experience
- Strong writing research and analytical skills
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Compensation & Benefits:
- $120000 $175000 base salary (DOE)
- Discretionary bonus and profit sharing

- Remote-flexible with no strict in-office requirement
- Must be within commuting distance to South San Francisco or Sacramento
