Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 AM 05:30 PM)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cath Lab Technician to join a dynamic cardiovascular team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures and be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Support procedures such as cardiac stent placement implant closure devices and angioplasty
- Perform both left and right heart catheterizations
- Assist with IABP placement/removal and advanced cardiac interventions
- Maintain sterile field and perform scrub and circulator duties
- Set up and operate Cath Lab equipment
- Monitor patients and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
- Interpret dysrhythmias and assist clinical team during procedures
Required Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- ARRT (R) required
- RCIS accepted in place of ARRT (based on team requirements)
Required Skills:
- Diagnostic & Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Interventions)
- PTCA (Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty)
- Rotational atherectomy (Rotablader)
- Cardiac catheterizations (adult)
- Sterile technique and scrub procedures
- Equipment setup and room circulation
- Recognition and management of cardiac arrhythmias
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
