With its inviting ambiance and thriving community The Grove Ngunnawal retirement village is the perfect destination to savour the finest retirement has to a Maintenance Officer at Keyton you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties by undertaking maintenance activities and providing excellent customer service to our residents. We are seeking a proactive individual with strong communication skills strong computer skills and a knack for successful candidate will support the close-knit team on a Full-time basis from Monday to Friday. No weekend work!Reporting to the Village Manager your duties will include;Coordinating and undertaking maintenance tasks repairs and inspections for residential propertiesAssisting with basic handyperson tasks as needed including minor repairs and installationsImplementing and adhering to EHS procedures ensuring safety of all residents visitors and contractorsCommunicating effectively with residents to address maintenance requests promptly and efficientlyCollaborating with external contractors to ensure timely completion of work accurate records of maintenance activities and update databases accordinglyAssisting with various Ad hoc duties where required as directed by the Village ManagerAbout You:The successful applicant will have demonstrated competence as a maintenance assistant handyman gardener tradesperson or trade assistant or experience in a similar role as well as:Be organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasksEffective communication skillsUnderstanding of machinery use and tools required for the jobA current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)Computer literate e.g. intermediate/basic knowledge with using Excel Word Outlook AppsThe ability to take initiative and be pro-activeThe ability to work individually and as part of a teamA current Australian drivers licence (Required)Relevant internal training and inductions will be provided to the successful candidate to Join the FunIf youre passionate about working within a vibrant and caring community for independent living seniors wed love to hear from you!
