Resolve Recruit is partnering with a leading Commonwealth Government agency to find an experienced Unified Communications Engineer.
This is a hands-on role supporting the delivery and operation of secure telephony and videoconferencing infrastructure across a complex globally distributed environment.
Our client is a prominent Commonwealth agency whose technology platforms underpin Australias international presence and engagement. As a Unified Communications Engineer you will contribute to both project delivery and operational support helping to design deploy and maintain critical communications systems that underpin Australias international engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support program and install telephony and videoconferencing infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve faults across telecommunications and data centre environments.
- Plan and deliver infrastructure upgrades and new technology deployments.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to coordinate technical works and project activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems configurations and changes.
- Identify opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to the development of technical solutions and best practices.
Key Experience and Skills
- Demonstrated experience supporting and administering telephony and/or videoconferencing systems.
- Ability to install configure and troubleshoot telecommunications infrastructure and associated data centre components.
- Experience working with enterprise communications platforms such as Cisco Polycom Crestron or equivalent technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Security Requirements
Applicants must hold an active Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance (or higher) to be considered.
