Support Worker Morning and Evening Shifts

• We are looking for staff with availability early mornings from 6am to 9am and evenings from 3pm to 8pm 7 days a week. This is a casual position.
• You will need to have a minimum of Cert III in aged care or disability as they will involve personal care services.
• Hourly rate starting at $41.24per hour (weekday rate) Weekly pay.

Across Australia Just Better Care provides in-home aged care and disability support services supporting people to live independently. For over 15 years we have been supporting older people and people living with disability to live independently in their own homes and stay connected to their local community.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Personal care: showering dressing grooming and medication assistance

• Social support/transportation for social activities shopping/groceries travelling to medical appointments

• Domestic assistance: light household cleaning laundry and meal preparation

• Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment

• Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs

• Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress

• Provide updates on customer progress following each service

• Caring compassionate & friendly

• Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills

• Reliable & dependable

• Ability to build rapport & good working relationships

• Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback

What you will need:

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check

• Current First Aid certificate/CPR

• Current Australian Drivers License

• Reliable registered and insured vehicle

• Smart phone with internet access

• Current Working with Children Check (preferred)

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care Home & Community Care Individual Support or Disability Services (preferred)
