Job Title: Content Marketer
Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Content Marketer to join our growing team at a dynamic social media agency. The ideal candidate will have mid-level experience (35 years) and will be responsible for offloading essential tasks related to video scripting administration and strategic support allowing our founder Dominic to focus on high-leverage work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ideation: Develop innovative and unique content ideas that align with client objectives and industry trends.
- Scripting: Transform ideas into actionable scripts storyboards and recording plans for video content.
- Editing Management: Oversee content pipelines manage editors and review editing styles to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Design: Create graphics diagrams and other visual elements to enhance content and presentations as needed.
- Data Analysis: Analyze content performance to understand what works and why using insights to refine strategies.
- Client Communication: Maintain consistent communication with clients ensuring projects stay on track and updates are delivered promptly.
You will receive training in these areas as we do not expect perfection on Day 1.
Requirements:
- 3 years strong copywriting experience whether from personal content creation or professional projects.
- Basic understanding of social media content particularly for Instagram and YouTube including familiarity with terms like hooks packaging and formats.
- Experience in scripting social media content or advertisements.
- Familiarity with various editing styles and the ability to critique edits effectively.
- Availability to work during Eastern Time (ET) hours with a full-time schedule of either 9 AM to 6 PM or 10 AM to 7 PM to overlap with US clients.
- Confident in using large language models (LLMs) and AI image generation tools.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in building your own personal brand or assisting someone else in brand development.
- Previous experience working with business owners and understanding of basic sales funnels particularly within the online services space.
- Knowledge of higher-level content strategy including format testing data analysis messaging and associations.
