Position Overview
The ideal candidate will deliver engaging standards-based instruction in high school Chemistry AP Chemistry and Physics creating a classroom environment where students feel supported challenged and excited to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver dynamic lessons aligned with Indiana Academic Standards
- Utilize hands-on labs and real-world applications to deepen student understanding
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Assess student progress and provide timely meaningful feedback
- Foster a positive safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen curriculum and instruction
- Communicate effectively with students families and staff
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana teaching license (or ability to obtain) in Chemistry Physics or a related field
- Strong content knowledge in both Chemistry and Physics preferred
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Commitment to continuous professional growth
