Key Responsibilities
This role will focus on processing Accounts Payable and maintaining Asset records across our companies.
- Process various types of Accounts Payable transactions
- Audit invoices against Purchase Orders and receivers
- Review and reconcile vendor statements
- Provide clerical support to the accounting department
- Maintain vendor profiles and compliance
- Process credit applications from new vendors
- Work directly with internal departments to verify expense coding
- Maintain Equipment files
- Process equipment renewals/registration/mileage-hours updates
- Manage fuel and toll accounts/credit cards
- Work with Trucking Department to record GPS Inspections & Maintenance records
- File taxes associated with equipment usage
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Previous work experience in an accounting function
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
- Familiarity with finance regulations
- Able to handle sensitive confidential information
