Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced MRI Tech to join a critical access facility in Seaside OR. This position will involve working a 4x10-hour shift schedule (Monday to Thursday) with a primary focus on providing high-quality imaging services for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MRI machines as well as the ability to effectively manage patient care during imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans on patients ensuring high-quality images are captured for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Maintain a sterile and safe working environment adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
- Review images to ensure clarity and completeness before submitting them for interpretation.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations (HIPAA).
- Ensure proper documentation of all MRI procedures and equipment usage.
Qualifications:
- Required Experience: Prior experience as an MRI Tech with proficiency in operating MRI machines.
- Special Requirements:
- Shift schedule: Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Client machine experience is required.
- Certifications:
- ARRT (MRI) required.
- BLS certification required.
- No on-call or weekend shifts required for this position.
- Ratios: 1:1 patient-to-technologist ratio.
- No floating between units is expected for this position.
