Job Summary
A well-established business within the digital payments space is looking to appoint an Accountant to support its expanding finance function.
This role suits a hands-on individual who takes ownership of their work has a strong grasp of financial principles and can operate effectively in a dynamic high-growth environment. You will work closely with both the finance team and senior stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the general ledger across multiple entities within the group
- Assist with producing monthly management reports and supporting schedules
- Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances
- Strengthen and uphold internal controls and financial procedures
- Provide support during audit cycles including preparation of required documentation
- Process and oversee regular payments to suppliers and partners
- Assist with regulatory and statutory reporting obligations
- Manage and reconcile inter-company transactions and balances
- Contribute to Board-level reporting and financial insights
- Support the team with ad hoc analysis and finance-related queries
Minimum Requirements:
- Postgraduate qualification in Finance or a related field
- Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles or approximately 3 years of relevant experience
- Exposure to listed environments or a solid understanding of reporting standards (including IFRS) is advantageous
- Experience working on Xero is beneficial
- Background within financial services or a payments environment is advantageous
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
- Own reliable transport
