Training Coordinator Manufacturing

A growing family-owned manufacturing business in Pickering is looking to appoint a Training Coordinator to take ownership of onboarding training and early-stage employee development across the site. Based in Pickering the role offers Monday to Thursday 8:00am4:30pm with an early finish at 1:30pm on Fridays and a salary of up to 40000.

This is a key role focused on improving retention consistency and the overall employee experience. You will have the opportunity to bring structure to training enhance onboarding and make a visible impact from day one.

The Role

Working closely with managers and team leaders you will take responsibility for how new starters are introduced supported and developed across the business.

  • Design and deliver structured induction programmes
  • Improve the onboarding experience ensuring employees are set up for success
  • Identify skills gaps and support the development of targeted training plans
  • Coordinate and deliver training activity across teams
  • Support managers with coaching and team development
  • Introduce and maintain a more structured approach to L&D
  • Track progress gather feedback and drive continuous improvement

About You

This role would suit someone from a hands-on HR admin training or coordination background who enjoys working closely with people in a fast-paced operational environment.

  • Experience supporting or delivering inductions and onboarding
  • Background within HR admin training or coordination roles
  • Exposure to training skills development or employee engagement
  • Confident and approachable able to engage a diverse workforce
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proactive with the confidence to support and influence managers
