Title: Criminal Justice Case Manager II
Pay: $24.21/hr
Location:Golden CO
Hours: M-F 8-5
OVERVIEW
Provides case management for aspecializedpopulationcaseload of probation clientsto help them successfully complete probationby applyingappropriate behavioralchange techniqueswhileprovidingsupervisionandmonitoring complianceaccording to Intervention policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ReflectIntervention to treating allpersonswith dignity and respect.
Maintainconfidentiality of client andcompanyinformation.
Carryout all duties/responsibilitiesin accordance withCompany values policiesand procedures applicablelawsand contractual obligations.
Maintain completeaccurateandtimelycasefile both paper and electronicfor each client on caseload.
Perform assessments/reassessmentsasrequired.
Developindividualizedsupervision case plan for each clientbased upon established protocolsand client needs
Detail and explain verbally to the client the clientsprobationconditionsandcase plan to ensurethe client understands his/her responsibilities courtordersand expectations.
Meetwith client per policy to evaluate progress in accomplishing case planandprogram requirements administer rewards and sanctions according to established policies and procedures.
Document all direct and collateral contacts with all clients.
Conduct orientation meetings with new clients and explain program rules and regulations.
Assess andcollectclient fees.
Enter client data into electronicdatabaseand spreadsheetsaccuratelytimelyand completely.
Report all program violations toSupervisor andoversightBoardvia the established Intervention policies.
Complete all written reports concerning clients inan accuratelegibleandtimelymanner. Prior to sending any reports to the courts or referralagencyapproval must be given by a supervisor.
Attend weeklystaffingstoprovide updates on client compliance as well as case management recommendations.
Refer clients to community resources asappropriate.
Monitordrug and alcohol tests and technology monitoringasrequired.
Work with courts probationSheriffsDepartmentand othercriminal justiceagenciesregardingclient staffing/compliance.
Travel tothe jailto meet with clients.
Provideowntransportationto courtjailand/or other sitesasrequired including in adverse weather.
Testify in courtregardingclientcompliance.
Attend requiredtrainingsandmeetings;applyskills and information.
Regular and predictable attendance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION:Bachelorsdegreefrom an accredited college or university in criminal justice psychology social work counselinga socialscienceor other closely relatedfield.
- ANDOne yearcase management experiencein criminal justice community corrections or general corrections field work with an offender population.
- SUBSTITUTION FOR EDUCATION:Workexperience in the areas of counseling social work law enforcementcorrectionsor community supervision which provided the same kind amount and level of knowledgeacquiredin the required education will substitute on a year-for-year basis for the bachelors degree.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a variety of constituents.
- Ability to complete assessments and develop case plans.
- Ability to enter data generate reports and create communications from variety of software programs and databases.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Knowledge of the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and appropriate techniques and practices for the client population.
- Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Company staff stakeholders and with diverse client base.
- Must pass background check and be granted access to state criminal databases.
- Demonstrated experience in Motivational Interviewing required within 1 year.
