Position Details

• Caseload:K12
• Schedule:Monday Friday roughly 7:30 - 3:30
• Hours:37.5 hours/week
• Dates:August 2026 May 2027 with potential to renew for 2027 - 2028
• Location:Onsite in Elgin IL

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services aligned with student IEPs
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine OT needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals
• Collaborate with teachers families and school staff to support student participation
• Document services and progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
• NBCOT certification (OTR)
• Current Illinois Occupational Therapy license (IDFPR)
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Support Personnel endorsement in Occupational Therapy(or eligibility to obtain)
• School-based experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
