How do you add value to the role

The Training Consultant delivers technical competency training programs and provides consulting in human development for both internal and external clients focused on technology management. This role develops content and designs instructional tools that facilitate the understanding of automated manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop instructional content for training programs following the organizations methodology ensuring deliverable quality and generating all required supporting documentation.
  • Design curriculum maps evaluation rubrics and the activities required to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
  • Deliver training sessions (on-site or remote) to groups or individuals; prepare instructional materials and aids; and generate and maintain required administrative documentation (reports evaluations summaries).
  • Own deliverables associated with each training program executed.
  • Act as a consultant by assessing training needs and designing solutions that translate into structured training programs aligned with client requirements.
  • Define execution schemes and logistics; evaluate user impact; estimate costs frequency and content effectiveness.
  • Design oversee fabrication and manage instructional demos required for training programs.
  • Participate in the selection testing and maintenance of training evaluation or knowledge management platforms.
  • Support ongoing industrial automation projects and services (on-site or with clients) to stay technically current gain hands-on experience understand common issues and align training with real plant environments.
  • Document capture and adapt organizational knowledge to deliver training to required teams.
  • Conduct individual or team-based research and development on new technologies methods or practices within the area of expertise.
  • Propose future-oriented training programs and disseminate knowledge and trends internally and externally.
  • Continuously develop technical competencies through self-learning or company-provided training programs.
  • Participate in training and competency development plans as a content developer trainee or instructor.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Robotics Mechatronics or related field) or Science.
  • Certifications/Courses: Training/Instructor certification and/or Automation technologies (preferred).
  • Language: Advanced English (required).
  • Passport Required
  • Visa Preferred
  • Availability to travel: Mexico and the USA

Experience

  • 3 to 6 years working with industrial automation technologies.
  • 1 to 2 years as a technical instructor or trainer.
  • Experience developing instructional content.

Technical Skills

  • Integration of industrial automation applications.
  • Control system design PLC programming and advanced HMI development.
