Job Summary

Instructor for Spanish Language

Language: Spanish

Location: Polanco Miguel Hidalgo Ciudad de MExico CDMX Mexico.

Employment type: Freelance.

Student: One adult student seeking to learn Spanish.
Student spanish level: Beginner.
Student native language: Japanese and English.
Schedule: 1 day per week for 90 minutesideally Thursdays.

Start Date: June 2026


The STAR7 LLC Academy team works with clients such as companies and relocation companies to provide language training for families moving to new countries.


We are currently recruiting a Freelance Spanish Language Instructor to deliver in-person lessons to an adult student in Polanco Ciudad de Mexico. This assignment may also lead to additional opportunities in the future supporting other students (virtual and/or in-person).

Key Responsibilities - in this role you will:

  • Design and deliver engaging one-to-one lessons tailored to the students level goals and learning style.
  • Focus on basic conversation pronunciation vocabulary and grammar in Spanish.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Encourage active participation and build the students confidence in speaking and understanding Spanish.
  • Adapt teaching methods and pace based on the students evolving needs.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with the student and project manager.


Requirements

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish.
  • Proven experience in teaching/instructuring Spanish as a second language preferably in a one-to-one setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish grammar pronunciation and usage.
  • Ability to create engaging and personalized lesson plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience flexibility and a student-centered approach.
  • A degree in Spanish Education Linguistics or a related field is a plus.
  • TEFL/TESOL certification or equivalent is preferred.
