Our client is seeking an Accounting Advisory Contractor to support and enhance the monthly close and reconciliation processes. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong operational accounting experience and the ability to improve close efficiency and financial processes.
- Establish and improve monthly close processes and timelines
- Lead and support account reconciliations and financial reporting activities
- Partner with accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely close execution
- Identify gaps and implement process improvements and controls
- Support operational accounting activities across the organization
- Provide guidance and best practices to strengthen close efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align accounting processes with business needs
- Strong experience in operational accounting and month-end close processes
- Proven track record of improving and optimizing close cycles
- Experience working at Associate Director / Director level
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite (highly preferred)
- Strong understanding of reconciliations financial reporting and controls
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project-based environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
