Job Title: Test Technician
Location: Austin TX 78753
Duration: 06 months contract
Pay: $26.50/hr. on W2
Citizenship Requirement: US Citizens
Shift: 4/10 1st shift Mon-Thu 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Position Description:
Test Tech II Because of the need for consistent in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role it will be performed full-time on site. Skills Required:
- Requires two (2) years of a High School or Trade School education.
- Seeking a candidate with at least 2 yrs experience in manufacturing testing PCB boards troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings.
- Ability to become solder certified
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft suit of products (Excel Word Outlook)
- Strong work ethic and a desire to be part of a successful working team I need only candidates with hand soldering skills.
- Preferably that have J-Standard Modules 1 3 6 completed.
- Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods procedures standards and sequences.
- Lays out and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications.
- Adjusts and calibrates systems as needed. Modifies equipment by adding removing or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches.
- Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed.
- Uses hand and small power tools and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Understanding of test instruments such as Oscilloscope multi-meters RF analyzers
- Able to troubleshoot on their own to component level
- Ability to read schematics diagrams IPC-A-610 J-STD Certifications Desirable.
