Job Summary

Responsible for the delivery of respiratory therapy and patient care following physician s orders hospital policies and procedures; and departmental standards of care and standards of practice.

Responsibilities:

Performs therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures.
Evaluates patient/resident response to respiratory therapy and takes appropriate corrective action.
Provides education to patients and staff regarding respiratory procedures equipment operation and safety precautions.
Performs routine maintenance and service checks on equipment.
Maintains records reports and other documentation related to the work.

Requirement description :

2 years of RRT experience - REQUIRED
Ventilator Bipap ICU ER and ABG trained therapist - REQUIRED
ACLS - PREFERRED

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

BLS
NBRC

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :

Michigan

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : Active at time of Submission
Weekend Requirements : Every third weekend
On Call Requirements : Yes
