Type: Contract (120 days) Shift: Mon-Fri 7:00 AM 3:30 PM Bill Rate: $28.23/hr
Job Summary
The Gateway Office Operations Agent is pivotal in supporting logistics and cold chain management by preparing packing supplies processing live shipments and ensuring products are maintained at required temperatures. This hybrid role requires equal focus on computer-based tasks and physical activities demanding strong attention to detail organizational skills and the ability to multitask. The agent will interact across departments and with international offices ensuring compliance with process guidelines and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare refurbish and configure packaging materials for shipments
- Manage live shipment returns and ensure correct temperature handling
- Review interpret and follow interdepartmental and international instructions
- Process shipments verify paperwork and address replenishment needs
- Book cargo space and track On-Hold shipments for approval
- Complete accurate daily reports and data entry using internal systems and Excel
- Monitor and respond to personal/group emails and follow-up notes promptly
- Operate pallet jacks and lift up to 75 lbs for physical shipment handling
- Adhere to all safety policies procedures and training deadlines
- Support customer packaging and cold chain replenishment needs
- Perform additional duties as assigned
