Role Overview

A hands-on Financial Accountant to own central accounting activities including general ledger management group consolidation intercompany transactions and system integrations. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate timely and compliant financial reporting across entities and will work closely with local finance teams auditors and headquarter team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation from public accounting (audit) combined with industry experience preferably in a multinational environment.

What You Will Do

• Central Accounting & General Ledger

  • Own and manage central accounting processes including month-end quarter-end and year-end close

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger entries in accordance with local/US GAAP

  • Review and analyze journal entries account reconciliations and handle complex accounting treatments

  • Maintain and improve accounting policies procedures and internal controls

  Consolidation & Group Reporting

  • Prepare group consolidation and financial reporting packages

  • Coordinate with subsidiaries to ensure timely and accurate submission of financial packages

  • Manage intercompany transactions balances and reconciliations across entities

  • Support management reporting and analysis on company/group-level results

  Audit & Compliance

  • Act as a key contact for external auditors and internal stakeholders

  • Support statutory audits internal audits and regulatory reporting requirements

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards internal policies and local statutory requirements

  Process Improvement & Projects

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes

  • Support system enhancements ERP implementations or finance transformation initiatives

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A tax treasury and legal teams

Basic Qualifications

• Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field

  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred

  • 58 years of experience in accounting operations or general ledger management

  • US SOX Controls experience is a plus

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes

  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

  Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS (or equivalent accounting standards)

  • Solid understanding of month-end close financial reporting and audit processes

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP or equivalent)

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with consolidation tools is a plus

  Personal Attributes

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Able to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of responsibilities

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across cultures and geographies

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
