Role Overview
A hands-on Financial Accountant to own central accounting activities including general ledger management group consolidation intercompany transactions and system integrations. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate timely and compliant financial reporting across entities and will work closely with local finance teams auditors and headquarter team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation from public accounting (audit) combined with industry experience preferably in a multinational environment.
What You Will Do
Central Accounting & General Ledger
Own and manage central accounting processes including month-end quarter-end and year-end close
Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger entries in accordance with local/US GAAP
Review and analyze journal entries account reconciliations and handle complex accounting treatments
Maintain and improve accounting policies procedures and internal controls
Consolidation & Group Reporting
Prepare group consolidation and financial reporting packages
Coordinate with subsidiaries to ensure timely and accurate submission of financial packages
Manage intercompany transactions balances and reconciliations across entities
Support management reporting and analysis on company/group-level results
Audit & Compliance
Act as a key contact for external auditors and internal stakeholders
Support statutory audits internal audits and regulatory reporting requirements
Ensure compliance with accounting standards internal policies and local statutory requirements
Process Improvement & Projects
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes
Support system enhancements ERP implementations or finance transformation initiatives
Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A tax treasury and legal teams
Basic Qualifications
Experience
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
CPA or equivalent certification preferred
58 years of experience in accounting operations or general ledger management
US SOX Controls experience is a plus
Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes
Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of IFRS (or equivalent accounting standards)
Solid understanding of month-end close financial reporting and audit processes
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP or equivalent)
Advanced Excel skills; experience with consolidation tools is a plus

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of responsibilities
Strong communication skills and ability to work across cultures and geographies
Comfortable working in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
