Job Summary

The RTR Accountant is responsible for performing and supporting Record-to-Report (RTR) activities ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general ledger accounting including journal entries and account reconciliations

  • Execute month-end quarter-end and year-end closing activities

  • Prepare and review financial statements including P&L balance sheet

  • Perform balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations

  • Maintain and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. AP AR) to ensure smooth financial operations

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives

Qualifications

  • 25 years of experience in RTR / General Ledger accounting

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Team collaboration
